I had told myself that I would not have more fun than the kids, and though I stuck to that, I still had a good time.
It had been a while since I'd been in a Chuck E Cheese's, and I don't think I had ever been there for a birthday party.
The setup is pretty cool. Each birthday party gets a person assigned to them to take are of that party's needs. At some point all the birthday kids, get called to gather back up at the tables for a special presentation.
This is when a special appearance is made by Chuck E Cheese himself. He comes out and greets all the kids. Sydney looked at first like she was ready to shake hands and give hugs, but that didn't happen, she actually freaked out and ran away as quickly as she could.
Next the birthday girls and boys are presented with a special medal and hat. After this, it was time to sing happy birthday and eat some cake and ice cream.
In between all the organized stuff, we got to eat some pizza and of course go off to play some games and have some fun!
Nothing like a party at Chuck E Cheese.....where a kid can be a kid! Heck, where even adults can be kids!!!!!!!
