Friday Night Fun - Mesquite Arcade

Frank, Sydney and I went out last night to this place in Mesquite that used to be some kind of tool store, somewhat like Home Depot. It has since been turned into this type of arcade place with everything from a buffett, to miniature golf, go carts, bowling, etc.

We started off having something to eat, which of course meant just Frank and I, since Sydney refuses to eat with us. After we finished that, we headed into the fun and games.

Frank and I started off with a little gun shooting. Well, let's just say I wasn't making anything happen - I'm terrible when it comes to guns and shooting, no aim whatsover. Frank did pretty well. He made a sleeping man wake up, and made the clock ring as well.

Next, it was on to some bowling. Sydney really enjoyed doing this. I must say though, she needs to practice on her "throw." :)

Up next was miniature golf in a room under a black light. It was pretty neat in there. Sydney quickly got the hang of the game, except for one big no, no. When she saw that a hole-in-one was not happening, she'd just pick up the ball and take it closer to the hole - it was pretty fun to watch.

We did several more things after that, some arcade games, and a kiddie section complete with a carousel.

Overall it was a fun night. Oh before I forget, the pictures with Sydney and Frank sitting or somewhat laying down on some seats, was a virtual roller coaster ride. Sydney did pretty well for about 5 minutes then requested to get off and cried a bit.
