Liz, Rebecca and I went out to Lake Lavon yesterday to take some pictures with the beautiful bluebonnetts.
You see, last weekend on our way to Eva's house in Celeste, we drove past here and I was just in awe at the hundreds and hundreds of beautiful bluebonnetts across the grass on the hill by the lake.
The weather did not pan itself out last Sunday so I patiently waited until this weekend and when I saw it was pretty decent, I gathered me up some peeps to go and take some pictures.
I seriously love taking pictures, of just random things at times, but also of Sydney and other people too! I could say I don't like being in pictures, but some may beg to differ. I honestly don't care how scary I look, I just kind of like posing with my little one, especially.
It's actually really neat to see how you "age" over the months and years...truly amazing.
Well here are some of the pics we managed to get, without mind you, rolling down the hill, or getting too muddied up - as it was still a little damp.
As Ruth would put it, and Liz complimented me, I just captured the essence of the bluebonnett in this picture! :)
I swear, her glasses are so cool!
I don't know what these little flowers are called, but aren't they just beautiful? Check out that bright yellow!
